The HOMEBUILDERS program is an evidence-based model which has been rated as a Well Supported family preservation program by the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse.
Emphasis is on child safety and keeping the family together.
As a HOMEBUILDERS Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, compliance, and management of the HOMEBUILDERS as well as model fidelity.
This individual will also be responsible for providing backup referral management and supervision for the Specialists on the HOMEBUILDERS team, when needed.
This position serves as the liaison between the program and state child welfare administration.
This position is expected to function effectively with moderate supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the staffing requirements of the program, along with consulting with supervisor(s) on program, clinical, or personnel issues; Build a cohesive team and maintain positive employee morale; Ensure agency policies and procedures are enforced through employee evaluations, conference request, time sheets, and reimbursement vouchers; Oversee the operations of the employee selection, hiring, training, disciplinary action, and orientation processes in accordance with agency expectations; Provide supervision for clinical and consultation activities, referrals, and other administrative duties in the absence of the Program Supervisor, when needed; Provide resources and support to the program to comply with HOMEBUILDERS standards, contract requirements, and/or quality improvement plans in collaboration with administration; Ensure agency adherence to all program components in the HOMEBUILDERS standards; Ensure supervisors adhere to all supervisor components in the HOMEBUILDERS standards; Support efforts to ensure client and staff safety; Attend team consultation meetings periodically; On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for consultation and support, while also scheduling a back-up coverage plan when unavailable; Facilitate and actively participate in required Quality Assurance activities, while also ensuring that all Program Supervisors participate in all required training and Quality Assurance activities; Attend all applicable training workshops; Assist supervisor(s) with reviewing model fidelity and program outcome data; Complete development plans with supervisors in collaboration with the supervisor and the quality assurance consultant; Review all quality assurance reports; Support the Program Supervisor in implementing quality enhancement and improvement plans; Establish and maintain positive working relationships with referring agency staff and other community professionals; Demonstrate flexibility with working hours outside of the normal business hours to meet the needs of the role to include some evenings and weekends, as needed; Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or equivalent field of study from an accredited college with two (2) years of experience working with children and families, preferably in family preservation and stabilization, or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or equivalent field of study from an accredited college with four (4) years of experience working with children and families, preferably in family preservation and stabilization; Preferably one (1) year of experience supervising others and teams; Preferably active or able to obtain professional licensure issued by the state of the work location as a LCSW, or the following licenses:
LICSW, LMFT, LP, LPEI, LPC, or LMHC; Must possess the ability to engage, develop, and maintain positive community relationships with a diverse group of individuals; Demonstrates excellent assessment, therapeutic and crisis intervention skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Work well under pressure and adaptable to change; Computer skillssufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of MicrosoftOffice suite; Must have an ability to work flexible work hours to include some evenings and weekends; Must be 21 years old with a valid driver'slicense with at least 3 years driving experience to operate a vehicle on behalfof Bethany.
Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain areliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage; Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries; Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commitment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
